José Luis holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Michoacan University of San Nicolas de Hidalgo, complementing his technical training with an International MBA from the School of Industrial Organization and the Alliance Manchester Business School. Before joining Acciona Energy, he served as Head of the Operational Strategy Department at CENACE, and later as Manager of the Acciona Energy Control Center for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, where he was responsible for the operation and management of 1,600 MW of 100% renewable generation in the region.
