About Me
Ofelio Gaona is an electromechanical engineer with a Master's degree in Power Electrical Systems and another in Developmental Leadership. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in High Management.
At CENACE, he began his professional career as an electric grid analyst, then worked as a shift supervisor in system operations, head of the Operational Strategies Department (2017–2019), and was in charge of the Alternate Center Management (2020–2023). Since May 2023, he has served as Deputy Manager of Operations and Dispatch, as well as acting Head of the Regional Control Management for the Eastern region.
Engineer Gaona is a specialist in the Operation of Power Electrical Systems, as well as in the efficient restoration of these systems, demonstrating his expertise and focus on the safety and reliability of the country's electrical supply.
