Biography
Areas of expertise:
- Graduated in Industrial Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) in 1994. Ph.D. in Engineering from the Institute of Electrical Energy at the National University of San Juan, Argentina, in 2001.
- University professor at UNAH in the field of Electrical Engineering.
- Currently serving as Distribution Manager of the National Electric Power Company (ENEE) in Honduras and chairs the Board of Directors of the Regional Operating Entity (EOR).
- In 2008 and 2009, he was Honduras' representative on the Board of Directors of the Network Owning Company (EPR), responsible for the development of the Central American Electrical Interconnection System (SIEPAC).

- Programming the operation of hydrothermal systems.
- Operation of electrical systems in the National Dispatch Center.
- Management of purchases and sales in the Regional Electricity Market.
- Electricity markets.
- Determination and application of tariffs for regulated users.
